aProbe is a heart rate app for interactive art.

aProbe app computes your heart rate via similar techniques as used in pulse oximeters. Place your index finger against your iPhones camera and in a few seconds your heart rate will be shown. aProbe app has an unique real-time HR display functionality to assist you to place your finger in the correct position against the camera. You can toggle the HR Display by tapping the HR Display button. aProbe app works the best with flash on. You can turn on the flash independently by tapping the Flash On/Off button. Finally, aProbe app also allows you to participate our future interactive art projects using your own pulse. Please follow us via our support URL for our future events.

Note that aProbe app works the best when you have the flash on, covers the camera completely, and press gently. If your finger press too hard against the camera, it is harder to get a result.
